Howe Sim is a prolific travel photographer whose work has taken him to all 197 of the world's sovereign nations and a total of 246 TCC countries & territories. 

His subjects are as eclectic as his destinations: from Rwanda’s endangered mountain gorillas to Greenland’s monolithic icebergs; from the curious rituals of Benin’s annual voodoo festival to the cultural treasures of "red zone” countries such as Somalia, North Korea, and Afghanistan.  

Dedicated to capturing the beauty of the world around us, there is simply no place he won’t venture. The more otherworldly his subject matter, the greater his wanderlust.

He works primarily on assignment, providing stock images for his corporate clients. Howe's work has been featured by National Geographic, Nature's Best, Outdoor Photographer, and many other leading travel and photography publications. His images appear in all manner of print and electronic media, adorn the walls of many homes and businesses, and are showcased in his series of travel photography books.

ABOUT THE WEBSITE

Howe Sim Photography features a keyword-searchable database with over 90,000 images, one of the world's largest online collections by a solo photographer. Each image is tagged with location/subject information, which is viewable on a non-mobile device (eg. laptop computer). To view his most popular images, check out his Favorites Gallery.

Howe's website is organized alphabetically, first by geographical region, then by country/state/city. To access images from a particular location, go to the Index page, select the appropriate Region and then the relevant Gallery. For example: Europe > Spain > Barcelona (of which there are three galleries).

Howe can be reached with any inquiries or comments through his contact page. To receive monthly updates on his latest adventures, join his Facebook group Howe Sim Photography. Images on this site are sold to individual collectors as prints and to businesses as licensed digital files for editorial or commercial use.

ORDERING FINE ART PRINTS

The images on Howe's website are available for online purchase as fine art prints on professional-grade photographic paper, in sizes up to 30"x45". In some cases, giclee prints and canvas wraps are also available. If you are looking for specific image content, enter search keywords wherever you find a magnifying glass icon.  

Simply click the "Buy" button when viewing an individual image and select the size you desire. Payment methods include PayPal and major credit cards. The copyright watermark on images on this website will not appear on your final print. Orders placed outside North America may be subject to additional import duties and/or taxes which are the responsibility of the buyer.

LICENSING IMAGES

Howe's images may be purchased by organizations as high-resolution digital files for use in print or electronic media. If you are looking for specific image content, enter search keywords wherever you find a magnifying glass icon. Please contact Howe with any inquiries and he will get back to you as soon as possible.

When doing so, please provide the following details:

- the name of the gallery in which your desired image is located

- the image number (which appears in the top right-hand corner of the thumbnail when you mouse over it)

- your name and your organization's contact information

- a description of the intended use and duration and, if applicable, the circulation or distribution territory

The images on Howe's website have rights-managed licenses, with each image being priced for a specific use and duration. The copyright on all images is owned by Howe Sim Photography. Payment methods include PayPal and major credit cards. Sales of all digital files are final and no refunds are available once payment is received.
